Precious Gem

Precious Gem is our 12 week teen abstinence program based on upon the Aspire Curriculum from Abstinence & Marriage Partnership. Through this program teens are able to understand that abstinence until marriage is not only God's plan for their lives, but also the best and only way to avoid the harmful physical and emotional effects of premarital sex. By offering a message of forgiveness and new beginnings, the program also reaches out to those teens that have become sexually active and offers an opportunity to embrace a "second virginity".

Power of 12

Power of 12 are small groups of twelve girls participating in workshops and group activities. Activities include our monthly book club meeting, Saturday monthly brunch, beauty make over seminars, our annual spiritual conferences.

Power of One

Power of One is a community-based mentoring program where mentors provide teens with one-on-one time and attention in their communities, typically two to four times a month. During these unstructured outings they cultivate relationships that provide teens with skills to manage every day challenges. Through simple friendship mentors experience the joy of helping teens discover a world of possibilities and opportunities.

Power of One also includes school-based mentoring where mentors provide teens with one-on-one time and attention in their schools, typically once a week during the academic year. Teachers identify teens who can benefit most from interaction with a caring adult. As their friendships evolve, volunteers and children discover ways to make school and learning fun.
